I’m 23, don’t have any degree, but good high school grades. I’m wondering how I could go about getting a job with a retail company as a trainee retail manager. I have previous Retail experience, but not in a management role.

I’ve seen these schemes advertised in papers like Metro, but I would imagine that most companies would advertise them on their websites also.

I know that Lidl and Morrison’s both have really good trainee schemes, although typically they are looking to hire graduates. I would start with their websites, and if there is no information on there, then call their head offices and ask to speak to someone in HR or recruitment.

Then, in terms of other companies to try, think about what companies are likely to have such schemes: it will primarily be large chains, so all the national supermarkets, and also department stores and high-street fashion stores. Again, just browse their websites for information.

Fabric rose and silk leaf are quite good. The rest are good concepts, but the execution needs work. Keep practicing and have fun with it, you definitely have some creative talent worth developing. Take a summer course, or online tutorials, or invest in a a few good Photography books to help you with the technical end.

I am going to be putting some lawn patch repair on the bare parts of my fenced in backyard (mulch/fertilizer/seed) and also some turf builder on the rest of the lawn. When can I let the pets go back in their yard? Would it be best to supervise them when they are in the yard? The packages say it is safe for pets, but I am not sure it is safe for the grass for them to be on it. Any other suggestions would be appreciated on how I can avoid having a big muddy mess this spring since the winter/Pets have turned the backyard into a big mess.

Its fine as long as they arent trampoling the seeds to death but Its best to keep them off.

Make sure you keep the seeds well watered.
They will need potassium. Potassium will strengthen the root system.
Check the ingredients on the bag. Dont use it if it has alot of nitrogen, it can burn the new roots and kill it.
Once the roots have developed after a month or 2, then use the nitrogen. Nitrogen encourages growth. Iron helps with color.

I think the turf builder has alot of potassium and low nitrogen, that’ll probly be good. Just dont over fertilize!

A lot of the companies in America "outsource" to India because the pay is much lower than here in the "States". There is an old saying that you get what ever the traffic will bear. IOW ask high and negotiate from there. If possible read the "Help Wanted" for India in your line of work. They may mention income, I don’t know much about India but I can always tell when I am speaking to some one there because of the accent. Assume that you can speak and understand good English.

I already own a domain name, and I am looking for a good place to host the actual website without paying anything for it.

Ok looking for a home theatre for my hdtv, hdmi compatability. But if I buy a Home Theatre with hdmi and connect it to the tv through component, will there be much of a difference if it where the hdmi version? Just looking towards the sound quality since my ps3 can’t support the sound on the regular tv speakers.

HDMI is a single cable (looks like a giant USB cable) that will transmit both Hi-def video content up to 1080p and true surround sound. Component HD cables transmit video up to 1080i, so you won;t notice much of a difference in video quality (none if your tv can’t display 1080p). With component HD, you will need to decide on an audio connection.

Your PS3 has an hdmi out so that would solve all your problems if your receiver has an HDMI INPUT. You plug the ps3 into the receiver via HDMI, plug the receiver to the tv using component and you should be good to go.

Other audio options include Digital Optical or plain old RCA(white/red) cables.

Btw, those RCA cables SHOULD work on just about any setup…it will only be stereo but it should work. Are you using that with your current setup?
